Carol A. Johnston, MD
Dr. Johnston graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Johnston has been practicing in Jacksonville since 1990.

Dr Johnston has been involved in the community including serving on the Onslow County Health Board, the Onslow Memorial Foundation Board, and the Sponsors for Academic Talent Board. She is currently serving the community as a trustee on the Onslow Memorial Hospital Board. Dr. Johnston is married to Dr. Scott Johnston and has three children.

Heath B. Ergas, MD
Dr. Ergas graduated from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at West Virginia University. Dr. Ergas brings to the Jacksonville area his vast knowledge of the latest technological advances in eye care and treatment of eye symptoms due to disease.

Dr. Tony Kokx, MD

Anthony “Tony” Kokx, MD hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at West Virginia University. Dr Kokx brings to Onslow County the newest surgical training and techniques in the treatment of eye disease and cataract surgery. Dr. Kokx is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and International Society of Refractive Surgeons.

Office Park Eye Center would like to say “thank you” to Dr. Brent Wilshire and his wife Cindy, retiring after twenty-eight years of dedicated service, for providing eye care to the Jacksonville community. Dr. Wilshire provided quality surgical, comprehensive eye care and compassion to his patients throughout the years and will be missed.
